[glitch?] Jumping with an attack button

if you walk off a ledge and immediately push the stick back + any attack button, a jump comes out

it's especially annoying because it's exact motion you'd do for a falling back-air

I couldn't find anything about this so I figured I'd post and ask, has anyone had this happen? it works with any platform/ledge, I tried it on multiple controllers/characters, it works with or without tap-jump

I can't figure out why this would be the result
