if your opponent is off-stage, gimping is when you prevent them from recovering rather than KOing them with an attack.

It's only the best way to get a kill, or, even better, cause a SD. Olimar mains need to stop failing the spike, then getting hogged by my 'shot to the ledge... it's embarrassing for them, and I don't even get the kill! I guess I shouldn't complain. :p
