Alright so I've been using Samus for a while now and believe I have a pretty solid Samus by most standards but I, like most people, always am looking for ways to improve. So I took a close look at my problem areas and decided to ask for some advice on how to fix them. My two biggest problems where I find myself taking the most damage in matches come from returning to the stage from the ledge and returning to the stage from the air. I seem to have problems at times with avoiding being juggled. I typically come down either by airdodging or dairs I was wandering how you guys mix it up. Also with coming up from the ledge I have a tendency to catch either a fsmash, upsmash, or Utilt in the face every other time I return. So if you all could hit me up with some help on these it would be much appreciated, thx.

ps the topic "you have to play gay" is pretty much discussing this....^^

but to answer your question
Returning from the ledge- depending on the range of the character from the ledge you should learn different recoveries
down x, and then fair is a nice ledge recovery both because its good/medium range, and multiple hitboxes
it also transitions nicely into dtilt or screw attack... just pay attention where your opponent gets hit with the fair (above you=screw attack, in front of you=dtilt)
if your opponent is playing long distance you can zair from the ledge... or shoot missiles... depending on preference.... You can also full jump from the ledge and then fastfall an arial if the opponent is further out....
if your opponent is near the ledge you can uair and then screw attack.... or if he powershields a lot and then grabs you can always use your fair but di it back to the ledge so the fire still hits him but you remain out of range... you can do this until something opens up or he moves away...
And as a last resort you can also stall on the ledge by dropping down and then screw attack back up....
or drop jump airdodge and then shield
Anyways... samus has a lot of ledge options... I guess it just takes practice to see what works for you and what situations to use them in....
did that make sense :/ I hope it helps....
oh yes, and before I forget you should be really familiar with dropping and then grappling the ledge again... its a short stall that usually throws an opponents timing off...
also you can transition a grab from fair, or pivot grab from a full jumped aerial if you go over them...

anything I missed... all these abbreviations are making me dizzy @.@ lol

Thx, I've been working the ledge-dropped tether stall into my game because it does open up my opponents a good bit of the time. I try to mix up some of the others but the one I'm interested in is the zair from the edge, the timing on this has proved difficult for me to get down but it would prove infinitely useful against a CF I play who tends to hang out right about the range of a roll from the edge and likes to either pop a Fsmash or quick grab on me depending on how I come up.

Dude, bombs. Samus almost never gets juggled if you just drop bombs to make your way around your foe. Samus has great ledge options, so just do as Hive says. A quick nair will usually stop your opponents mid-combo. Good luck.
