Getting NTSC image on PAL version?

Hi guys,

so all my recording stuff, sadly won't support PAL60... but yeah, happy enough: NTSC!

Shortly what the difference is:

PAL50 got back then a different color "calculation" (for whatever reason) and when they wanted 60hz in Europe, it got some problems with the tvs, thats why there is today PAL60

So, again ive no clue why, you can buy good recording stuff in europe, but of course most of them wont support Pal60 (great thats the european version huh?) so what i tried to do is, setting my wii on ntsc and forcing ntsc image, worked great on NTSC melee

but when i boot pal melee on this settings, i just wont get any image at all, sounds work without a problem


does somebody got a solution?

With dazzle you should get a black/white picture in PAL60 when setting it to NTSC, and can fix that by changing the picture to SECAM_B in AMcap after you start recording. No idea why that works, but it does lol.
Since you have trouble even getting a picture at all, then I guess this won't work though =/
