Getting Chainthrown by Doc

I asked this in the Q&A thread but got no response so...
When playing against the Doc, for how long should he be able to chainthrow me. It seems like sometimes I'll get chainthrown for about 40% or even more, and other times I manage to tech out of it right away. Is it that I'm DIing well or he's just messing up his grabs? How should I best handle this situation?

You shouldn't be getting chainthrown very long at all. DI upwards and jump out of it.

Doc can CG from 20-60% easily. After that it links to a fsmash or fair. I do not think you can DI up out of this before that. They can CG from 0% but it's much harder. I just looked at the Doc. Mario matchup post on the Doc boards to find this out.

it's somewhere on $mac and cyphus' doc guide (i should know this by heart, sadly).

but it is indeed from ~20% - ~60%.

Only way you that out in that range is if doc doesnt follow the CG.

Anything before 20 or after 60, you can jump out.

To handle this situation; you do just like you would do vs sheik/ganon/ics or anybody else who can chaingrab you. Dont get grabbed.

I know it sounds hard; cause it is. But that's how you avoid it. >.>
