Mods, feel free to close this if you feel it isn't a valid point.

Anyway, isn't it great how all of these people are yanking there hair out as to whether or not Sheik got in? Another complaint is if Zero Suit Samus can only be playable through Samus' Final Smash. I think the answer to these questions lies in the character profiles:

Seeing as how we got a Zelda Update, but no Sheik update, leads me to believe that Sheik has been removed. They are the exact same person, and why Zelda wasn't shown with her counterpart makes me a little worried.

On the other hand, Samus and Zamus were shown apart, in two different character profiles, leading me to believe that they are two seperate characters not requiring a transformation to play as one another.

I think that Samus and Zamus are considered as one character slot, but will work like Zelda/Sheik as they were in Melee. You'll most likely be able to access Zamus at the start of the match, instead of having to go through Samus' Final Smash.

Sheik will probably be revealed in the Zelda's Special Moves update. I think that Zamus got her own profile because you can't access her via Samus' special moves, but her Final Smash. However, don't quote me on that,

P.S.
What is the "Item Emporium"?
Is it some sort of site, or clan? PM me about it, please!

Sheik was profiled on her own before Melee came out.

Its nothing, it's just the fact that Brawl has cool items, thus I dubbed it the "Item Emporium"

That is Pure Speculation.

Not only is it speculation, but it's wrong. Zamus is confirmed to be a transformation of Samus.

You Fail.
Everything is pure speculation around here if you haven't noticed already.

Lol! I really like how you edited "You Fail" in there :p

Alright, cool! ;o
Yeah, I forgot I wanted to put that in, and I also wanted the first post.

But seriously. This is just wrong. Nothing can be said right now about sheik's inclusion. We have no idea. That Samus/Zamus thing is just plain incorrect

Actually, Eaode, nowhere does it say that the only way you can play as Zamus is to transform into her as Samus. You can transform into Zero Suit Samus if you use the smash ball, but obviously that isn't the only way you can play as her. I find it hard to believe that it would just be holding A at the beginning of the match, they're must be a more obvious way of selecting her. Samus and Zamus could still be separately selectable and not requirep/i] a transformation to play as the other. I'm not saying that it would happen, but you never know. We do at least know that Samus and Zamus will work differently than any character we have ever seen before.

His two ideas contradict eachother. He says that because Sheik wasn't shown in the same update as Zelda, that Sheik is removed, and then says that because Zamus wasn't mentioned in Samus's update, and instead in her own, that they are seperate characters (even though they are confirmed to be the same character)

Whether you can start the match as Zamus is irrelevent, they are still the same character, like Zelda and Sheik are the same character.

I'm not exactly sure what he was trying to say, but I believe he was actually offering them as contradicting points of view. Which is why he said, "on the other hand".

Actually, I believe his point here was that he thought that Samus And Zamus would not require a transformation to play as the other, which is what he meant as a separate character.

it's too early to be saying that Sheik won't be in because she has no profile. MetaKnight didn't have a profile until just a few weeks ago, and everyone assumed he'd be unlockable.

besides, Eiji Aonuma already confirmed that they designed Sheik for Brawl.

You are completely right burrito, that is exatly what I meant. Not that Sheik is out of Brawl, but why would Zamus get a profile, and Sheik not?

Meta-Knight was shown in the site's first update, and he just got his page.

Zelda wasn't shown until a bit later.

True, Aonuma has confrmed that he has submitted designs for Shiek, but that still doesn't mean that Shiek is guaranteed to be in. It's probable, but in the end we have to wait on Sakurai to reveal it.

There's already enough "OMG WHARE SHEIK" topics already existing. Use one of those.
