Getting a new controller for Smash Ultimate

Behold the controller I'm aiming to fight with. Sure it may look like a Genesis controller but will it be the PS1 controller of Smash Ultimate? I hope that I can strive for excellence as I play Smash Ultimate.

I tried Smash with a fight stick. It was ok except for the fact that the stick was completely digital, so when I switch it to emulate analogue, it is impossible to land tilts.
