The Cave will be hosting bi-weekly tournaments, probably rotating between singles and doubles.

603 West State Street
Geneva, Illinois 60134

THIS IS A BYOC EVENT

Matches are 2/3, random neutral for the first, and counterpicks for the second/third.

Entry fee is $20 per team.

The Cave sells food/drinks/energy drinks

There will be time for friendlies before and after, so come early and stay late.

Tournament starts at (subject to change) 4:00

Bracket will be randomly generated.

Post if you plan on coming- great fun, great fun.

I'll be there. I'll need a partner if my friend decides not to go, but meh. Friendlies will still be fun even if I can't get someone to team up with.

Im not a big fan of teams.

Im pretty sure jeff told me that the cave is hosting bi monthly tournys (twice a month). You might wanna check that out Gonz...I think the next tourny is 7/28 and its a singles.

Nice. I might hit this up again, but only for friendlies... unless someone wants to team with me. But I'm not a huge fan of team matches.

I'll definitely be there for the 28th, though.

If my friend doesn't go and you want to team up, then I'd be glad to do team with you. Otherwise I'll end up doing the same thing you are and just going there for friendlies.

I hate how all of the singles tourneys are on Saturdays. Those are my money making days and I keep having to get both of my shifts covered.

HalfDemon: How is a DK going to do in teams?

Are the friendlies going to be singles or mostly teams?

And I plan on doing singles friendlies. I'm just going to try and improve my game and singles are probably the best way to do so.

Seems like a lot of people are looking forward to doing singles friendlies. I'll still do doubles if anyone needs a partner, but it's good to know I'll have someone to do friendlies with.

A lot of people need partners but I doubt many would want to spend $10 to enter with someone they've never played with before. It's pretty understandable. I'd act the same in their position.

I don't care though. Partner or not, I'm still going. I'll ask my friends if they want to team up, but if not, no big loss. I may end up finding someone at the time of the event if I'm lucky. Otherwise, there'll be plenty of time for friendlies.

Well right now I'm trying to find a sub for work, if I can't I will probably be showing up at around 4, just like last time.

Eddie I want to play you too so you can give me some Samus vs Gannon advice.

Zjiin lets do a best out of 3 again, cause that way I can get practice against Samus and fox (No Ice Climbers okay?).

DA Bear, I don't know if your coming to this but if you do, I want to play your zelda again.

Yeah, I'll play you. I can't play AT ALL if it's a tournament, but if it's just friendlies I'm alright.

And, yeah, feel free to show up to run singles/low tiers/FFA with items on Hyrule pools.
