What is the side tourny this is being held before singles? I suggest doubles.

Well last time there wasn't any, maybe if more people show up this time, we can have a side tourny. If there is one, it will most likely be a FFA tournament.

FFA tourny? 4 person free for all? omg. Teh 1337 H4x0RZ.

The first singles tourny the guy running the tourny (Jeff) was nice enough to make us brackets so we could do a low tier for free. last tourny who ever was running it (i think the owner) didnt want to make brackets for free.

Id love to do a serious tourny before the 4 tourny but I think teams would be a bad idea being that there are going to be less people present before 4 then at 4.

Even though I dont have a low tier...Im down to try a low tier.

Well since there are less people before the actual tourny, we really can't have a teams tourny. Having 2 singles tournys would just be obnoxious. So I guess low tier would be the best option.

BTW, can anyone tell me what my avatar is? I picked it because nobody else uses it, but I don't know what it is supposed to be.

Heh, I'm pretty sure it's not possible to be more annoying than 5150 without your brain self-destructing for the good of humanity. *Sigh* Well if no one from Byron can stand to ride with you all the way up there, I suppose :laugh:. Just give me a call Saturday to let me know what's up.

I am going to be going to this for sure, hopefully make it in time for the tourny. Are we doing a doubles tourny before hand? I think we should make that one free since most people would just be coming for the singles one anyway.

It sounds like these tourneys don't have much turnout...but I don't know if im going anymore.

They've had decent turnout when I've been. And as for taking your friends money, people generally go to these for fun or to see really good players-- not because they expect to win. There's only a few people that actually go just because they expect to win money. Like when I went to some tournaments in Wisconsin everyone knew Tapion was going to win but a lot of people go just to play him and get friendlies with other Smashers.

First place probably will get like 90 bucks (assumption). I hope no one is going soley because they want to win..
