Genesis Trip w/ Me and Vex? Anyone?

Ok I'm plannin the Genesis trip for me and Vex, and I would like for some more people to go with us. The more the merrier for the trip, and we can split a hotel room to make it much cheaper.

So who hasn't bought stuff yet that would like to coordinate with us. I know there's a lot more people goin. Inui n Atomsk? Pierce? Whose with us?

ADHD is considering going to Genesis. We were wondering if you already have arrangements for where you are staying, because we would like to know if you were interested in potentially splitting a double with us, It's $62 per night, and since me and him would be arriving the day before and leaving the day after, we would be staying 4 nights. That being said, if the four of us split a double, it would be roughly $62 each, which I find to be very affordable. There will be 2 Queen Sized beds, and I'm definitely sleeping on the floor, so it shouldn't be too hard to figure out who is sleeping where. I'll PM you as well, please get back to me ASAP.

Sorry Pierce, but we've already worked out plans and everything with Inui to stay with him and we have our rides all worked out to and from the venue each day and to and from the airport. You can talk to Inui to see if you can get in the room, but as for the ride, our driver is full to my knowledge.

Do you mean your reply here a couple of weeks ago? I'm not gonna lie I completely forgot about that. If you mean the pm you recently sent, I've had these plans good for at least a week, before I even had my plane ticket purchased which was today. Even the reply on the 21st was sort of vague and didn't really imply anything serious with us.

It's cool Vex. I know that we didn't talk about this (me and you) but as you can see, I replied here to Chibo, and never got a reply back. I also talked to Inui and Atomsk about where they were staying, because I specifically said I'd like to stay with them. Atomsk said he'd let me know, and he seemed to have forgotten all about me. It's w/e. I'll just have to find some other affordable accomadation unless Inui comes through. The "Genesis" hotel is in walking distance from the venue, but I would rather be around people I know and trust.

Chibo, what tickets did you get, since ADHD is still looking for tickets?

i ordered mine from studentuniverse.com. i got a pretty nifty discount since im a college student. idk if he is or not.

im not rly sure if the venue is walking distance. its 1 mile, but i heard its not too nice of an area. but there is a thread that is offering rides to and from the venue, the thread is in tourney listings. there should be spots open.

and i cant really explain much, i dont even know what hotel were staying at lol, inui has all the info. im just meeting him in san jose and following him.

Hell, if the hotel is cheap enough, I really don't mind splitting a cab with ADHD to go to and from the venue each day if it's affordable enough, and we're saving money on where ever it is that you guys are staying. I'm sure SOMEONE in Cali will hook me up with a ride if it's reasonable distance. I still would need to get more information from Inui though. I'll PM him now, he didn't answer his phone, but he's amazing about calling me back.

The money we'd save by getting a $50 room would just be put into a gas tank in order to go back and forth and it would reduce the amount of time we could sleep. I think I'm going with the Ramada Inn. I'll make my reservation today.

I'm going to get the executive one instead. It has the same amount of bed space due to the couch, but more floor space, and it's only $10 more.

Well, the lady at the desk told me the deal expired or some crap, but I'm not going to give up. I'm going to call back later and talk to the manager. They won't let a sale fail due to such nonsense, especially when I mention that I can get a deal with Choice Hotels for far less if they don't give me their discount.

I'm going to allow a lot of people in there if I get this room. Me, Atomsk, Pierce, Chibo, Vex, Sky + people he might be with, etc. ADHD is obviously invited if he goes.

If you are staying in my room, I am requiring that you bathe. I do not want to smell disgusting dirty kids the whole time. Bathe. I will hand you your money for the room and tell you to go somewhere else if you don't bathe.

Ok, well, apparently that Ramada Inn is extremely close, ja? Then it'd be better than me getting a room farther away for less money due to gas/driving/time.

If people are worried about me getting a room or not, stop worrying. There is more than a 100% chance that I will have a room for all of us.

If we are splitting the room between that many people, I am very much in agreement for this arrangement. I was merely considering a double or executive because I thought we'd have less people, but I have absolutely no qualms with sharing a room with MORE people at all. The more the merrier I say. I trust everyone I know, and I doubt the Californians will be rummaging through my bag. Outside of that, I'll be the first one up, and I'll barely be in the room, so I don't give a ****, lol. I also have zero qualms with showering, lmao.

I'm backing you up 150% whereever you decide to go with this.

For $69 per night, which is better than the Genesis deal.

Anyways, after I get the final bill, I'll determine how much to charge everyone based on how many nights they stay. I got it from Thursday night to Monday morning.

if we get adhd that makes it $10

and we can make some of the money back by crew battling other hotel rooms. find another hotel room with like 6-7 ppl and challenge us $5 each. we'l win, and we can put the winnings towards our room bill lol

Aha! Our hotel room might be the most broken one there in terms of skill if ADHD comes!

~$40 per person if everyone else is staying until Monday, not counting people Sky might have with him or others we might take on.

Then again, that's not counting the possible final price of the room after taxes (blame the liberals).
