You may have discovered this by yourself already, but for those of you who haven't, allow me to explain.
As you all should be aware of by now, water ceases the chokeslam, making it virtually useless.
However, I have recently discovered something that I have for the most part mastered, and found that it is painfully simple to do.
At pirate ship, Ganny can chokeslam death anybody, and survive. All it takes is a little bit of angling, quick fingers, and a gullible oppenent.
The trick is done by first dangling off the front end of the ship, ( I say dangling now, because it is the easiest position to learn from) and having your victim approach you. When your victim is about midway on the bow, quickly press back, jump, and once the Gan man's top half pokes above the top of the bow, press >B.
If done correctly, you see that petty ship wood is not enough to stop the dark king, as he will glide THROUGH the bow, GRAB the opponent, and chokeslam him down into the water.
But here is the sexy part: when you do this, Ganondorf actually DRAGS them against the bottom of the friggin boat, basically HOLDING them on the spike area, where the victim absorbs the entirety of the ship spike, while you can safely jump back onto the boat.
You are essentially forcing them to take wood, and due to the stun of being choked and being so dangerously close to the ruthless ship spike, it is impossible for the opponent to escape, but because you are just far enough away, you can't be punished for it.
