STAGE NOTE: Before the Match begins, and the characters are selected.. you get the choice to Ban 2 stages of your choice. Only one Starter Stage may be banned.

STREET FIGHTER 4: For anyone that read this thread when it was originally posted, It said that we were having a Street Fighter 4 Tournament on the same day. That has been changed. Our Street Fighter 4 Tournament has been kept on the 21st of February so that Smash can be played all day on the 28th. If you are big on Street Fighter and still wish to come, be sure to let us know. We also have a Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 Arcade availabe at Gamepad.

Food:
Gamepad is located in a Town Centre. It's basically a mini Mall with plenty of food options. Your options include Great Steak, Wendy's, Chick Fillet, Sbarros, China Wok, Starbucks, Auntie Anne's Pretzels, and Subway, all of which are in walking distance! We also have plenty of Snacks and Drinks available in Gamepad.

NOTE: Gamepad has an Elite Team dedicated to playing Smash and are always looking for competition. Sadly the locals aren't as challenging. So do us Elite's a favor and come show us your skill cause we could use the challenge.

Wii/Controllers:
Just like any Smash Event, we must ask that you bring your own controller to play with. As for the Wii's, The first 7 players to bring a Wii/Game (all characters unlocked) will have their Venue fee waived!!! Don't worry about Additional TV's.. we have over 40 TV's available.

So I spent an hour yesterday testing the TVs at GamePad...

I'm 100% positive that there is NO lag on either TVs.

We just need to make sure when we use other people's Wiis that the correct ratio settings are on.

I'm so pumped. My TL is evolving.

If anyone who wants to come to this tourney and is in Fredericksburg sometime before Feb. 28th, stop by and play a couple games with me! I work 5 days a week here.

This is our first Tournament and we want it to be big. The first Thread we posted wasn't getting as much attention and alot of changes were made so we made another. As for the third one, we wanted it to reach the other parts of the Smash community. We also want to hold these Tournaments often so we are hoping that once everyone comes, see's the venue, and the people that work there.. it will be talked about and maybe a good place to hold Major Smash Tournaments kinda like Clash of the Titans.

And yes. I can change your name.

the japanese ledge grab rule should be imployed, or at least we add something similar.
this alone makes the game more competative and less campy.

Yeah, I can add you and 3 more people to the list. Do they have Smash Taggs or should I just put them down as guests?

It's a race to the mall buddy.. lol just get there as soon as possible. If your a local you'll probably get there alot sooner than the non locals that said they are bringing their Wii's.

Yeah I was reading about that ledge camping thing the other day, and I do like the concept. I will more than likely update the Tourney rules and have those rules applied, I just would like to see what the Smash community has to say about it first before I put any more "Bans" on anything.. I don't want complainers.
