Game stores don't carry Gamecube stuff anymore, right? Because I haven't seen one Gamecube controller or memory card in any of them.

I'm guessing its because the Wii is the newest model, but they still sell PS2 stuff when the PS3 already has came out!

They must hate Nintendo.:(

Except PS2's are still being made, games are still being made for it, and it's technically still running at the moment. So no, they don't hate Nintendo.

I see GameCube controllers in Best Buy, Gamestop and other stores every time I go into them. I went to check out Circuit City's liquidation sale the other day and saw a rack of 50 or more GameCube controllers.

remember when gamestop sold dreamcast, snes, nes, gameboy, and n64 games? That was ****ing awesome. Now, if you want that stuff, you need to buy it online, or find a local video game store that isn't gamestop

Yeah :(

I was thinking of buying some N64 games that people told me were really good but N64 games aren't sold anymore at major stores. Still, I'm sure you could always go to those "We buy old games and sell them for cheap" kinda stores. I know there's one really close to my house called "New to You".

this is true, but look at the controllers most of the stores where gamecube controllers and other stuff are sold are different. The products are made to fit the wii better, I havent seen an OG GC controller sold in any store i go to for a long time.

Some old renting stores might have the N64 games. Here in Australia theres on near me that has banjo tooie, diddy kong racing, kirby and the crystal shards all boxed and everything i asked them if they would sell them they said yes but they have to wait until the boss of the store says when to sell them. So i'll go buy them if they are cheap.

PlayNTrade has a ton of old stuff. I'm not sure of their locations though. I only know of one in Walpole MA.

Same here!

There are quite a few boxed and even more unboxed games. I was thinking of getting diddy kong racing since I lost my old one :(

They have it there so I'm likely going this weekend to buy it.

Also, the amount of GC games here are crazy!
I picked up viewtiful Joe and some other games and I'm liking them all so far.

Yeah I went to Circuit city to get some GC the liquidation was only 10% of but that was okay 20$ for a new Nintendo brand controller was well worth it. I'm going to check back next week to see if the discount is even greater.

really sad that GC is starting to sink under the current gen consoles..... especially since game cube had so much better games than the wii..... nintendo just gave up on quality games because of their success.... i dont even like the wii concept....... back when controlers were actually still controlers it was great... /sigh
I miss the actual pleasure i felt each time i bought a new game for the cube.....

the prob though is that i lost my black memory card which had almost all of my cube games on it and im stuck with the ones for colosseum and xd which have little space for 1-2 more games each

Of course if you want it now, rent it and 'lose' it, though you might end up having to pay how much they bought it for in the first place.

I was thinking that too but i think they changed it to say you haven't brought it in it's due date then they will charge you $10-$15 every week for one month and after one month if you haven't handed it in yet they let you keep it. I'll actually ask them lol see what they say. But i'm sure if they do sell them each one will go for $15-$20 since they don't know nothing about n64 games.

I hope they run out of buisness then i can start getting alot of stuff from them.
