Do you think they will start selling the gamecube controllers again for ssbb?

and also do you think they will be at a cheaper price because the last ones were rediculously expensive

As far as I know, they are actually out of production at the moment. Nintendo of America still sells them, but I believe it's limited stock. Grab them while you can.

I'd like to see just a wii gcn controller. I don't know why the classic controller isn't just that, a GCN for the wii.

I saw a Wii GC controller recently. It's costs more here than in America, naturally...

You mean something like that?

I would like one that would replace the wii menu and could be used for wii mote only games. You could replace the wiimote's a with the gcn a, wiimote's b with the gcn b, etc. etc. and it would make playing the game so much easier. If you have owned a wii since release date you should know that the swinging and standing up has gotten really annoying. It would be nice to sit down, keep your hands still and just play like you did in 2001.

Yea they still sell them. I'm getting a GC Controller(Not wireless), because I simply don't want to replace the battery all the time. Then again, thats how the remote is. And im not the one to always have batteries lying around.

then again, i could always buy that rechargable wiimote stand, but thats another $50 bucks.

Look on Froogle. There are various sites around that should still sell new ones at a reasonable price.

Zantetsu, you should probably give credit to IGN for actually making that image ;) And I have no idea what you're talking about with the 'standing up and swinging'. It sounds like you've only played Wii Sports.

$10 bucks for gamecube controllers?

Sweet, I always thought they were around $20. Maybe I was looking at wireless ones.

Hey guys I have a question. About how long do you think a Wireless Gamecube controller lasts before running out, in terms of hours?

Example: Leaving the gamecube wireless controller on all day, when will it die? If it's only 6 hours or something, I don't think I can cope with that.

Well since its considered a "wireless" device, and you're not really moving that far away distance-wise, its battery drain is minescule.

Yea, the wireless are unbelievable. They're really good. I have two pelican wireless controllers, and they're great. It's a little ackward to get used to cause or the grip, but it makes it easier to wavedash and stuff.

They have a third party controller which plugs in the GCN port. It's a cross between the GCN controller and the Classic one. My Wal-Mart still sells PLatinum GCN controllers anyways...

Swinging = Shaking is about the same thing in my opinion so... I meant shaking. And games you shake your wii mote on are : Galaxy, Twilight Princess, Corruption (Sort of), etc. etc.

ive seen that picture before... and thats a good idea. is that controller scheme already in the works? or is that just a photoshop?
It is photoshoped but it looks real doesn't it? (Other then the A and B where the 1 and 2 Is supposed to be.

Is that picture real? If it is I'm definitely buying one of those.
Like I said above. It's photoshoped =P

My TV is placed pretty high in my room so, in order for me to aim, I have to stand up.

Try placing your sensor bar somewhere else, possibly below the TV.

It's a photoshopped image that IGN put together a few years ago when the Wii's remote was revealed (at the time its buttons were Start, Select, a, and b, instead of - + 1 and 2).
Nintendo said that day that there would be a Classic Controller add on that would connect to the wii remote and make it possible to play older games and cross-platform games should a developer choose not to use the 'new style' of controller. This was how IGN suggested it should look.
