Here's how we can tell if Nintendo has any business sense whatsoever:

If Iwata requests that Sakurai not add classic controller support to smash bros u Wii U pro sales will SKYROCKET do to everyone needing one to play the game without the wiimote or gamepad.

If classic controller is supported and Iwata doesn't realize his mistake then everyone who already owns a classic controller (most wii owners and smash players) will not NEED to go out and spend 50 dollars on a wii u pro.

All we can do is wait and see if Nintendo is smart enough to pick up on this business tactic :3

Yeh one thing for pro players who do want to use this, just a slight warning(I got one for brawl when I realized my new Wii didn't have gamecube ports) All the buttons and triggers work fine, the only thing I had a prob with was, the joy stick had a slight calibration problem. The if u tilt it, it has to go over quite a bit far before it registers, making it that at some point where a tilt would work, it doesn't register as the joystick being moved at all. It sounds bad in text but, when using it, it isn't much of a problem but for some, it may be a real pain
yes, there is a problem with the the left stick with this adapter. i believe the problem is that the adapter works by making the wii u think the gc controller is a classic controller, but the stick of the classic controller has a different maximum range than that of the gc controller. i could be wrong about the cause of the problem, but there definitely is one, as you say. this adapter probably won't be a solution for most, i'm guessing.

i'd gladly adapt to a new controller if the game is actually hardcore.

Here's how I see it.
Sega Genesis > GCN Controller = Wii U Controller.
Why the Genesis? Because "Genesis does what Nintendon't."

I'd prefer to give the U Pro Controller a shot before immediately jumping back on the GCN controller train. You have to learn to at least try new things.

My cousin actually bought 4 of the Mayflash adapters back in the summer along with his Wii U. Honestly, it's great. It's very responsive and no lag at all. Definitely recommend it.

No. I think the Pro Controller will be fine, take a bit to get used to, but it'll work.
