I know I can mess around with the settings to gain best quality. But when I do set it to record at best quality, gameplay seems so much laggy (this is when playing on the computer). Is there a way to record at better quality but without the lag? Or am I suppose to hook up the gamebridge and the console so I can still record, but play on my TV?

Your best bet would be to get an A/V splitter of some sort to be able to play on your TV while recording to your computer. I've been using this setup for years and it's been working wonders for me. It'd be horrible to play while looking at your computer screen xD

It's probably the type of PC you have since Adaptec Gamebridge is 100% CPU driven.
