Gamebridge 1400 for Wii

Does the Gamebridge that says for Playstation 2/Xbox/GameCube work for the Wii as well? I ordered one off of eBay that was advertised as Playstation 3/Xbox/Wii and when I checked the mail today, the one I received says "PS2/Xbox/GC"...

the wii might not have been out when the game bridge was released, but as stated above the video output can be the same, so it should still work fine.
