I see it's been reduced to 250. This sucks for Australians, most of us getting 260-280. We go on to find better players to P2P, as our server isn't that broad in terms of good players.

Could it be reraised to whatever it was before - most players with high pings don't even bother playing, they just go on to find P2P matches.

Yep although its impossible for you to play there its still good to find players. Ping cap is kinda useless.

That was sort of my need. I told firo about proxy client and that when you use actual proxy's it lags ping high, so he set it to maximum.

LOL no

well, it's possible but it's not actually a feature in it right now, just ping.

Anyone that dislikes the new ping cap can ask Firo on why he did that. He also changed the packet drop message from "{username} obviously shouldn't work for UPS because he/she is dropping packets" to "{username} obviously shouldn't work for FEDEX because he/she is dropping packets"

There's nothing wrong with it but yeah, Firo is making changes.

Actually, only allowing excellent or lan is an option, but I don't see how it is really needed. Those who want to play on good or something could if they wanted. Maximum ping is now 250, which I thought would be high enough for everyone, but if some legitimate people can't get in then I could change it to around 300 or so.
