SUPER SMASH BROS. FOR WII U RULES
All items OFF, item frequency set to NONE, team attack ON, custom fighters OFF.
2-stock 6-minutes for Singles; 3-stock 8-minutes for Teams.
Mii Fighters: Guest Miis with default special moves (1111) only.
Game 1 selection procedure: players pick characters (blind pick can be requested), players strike stages from the Starter list to determine the first stage (order: P1-P2-P2-P1).
Game 2+ selection procedure: winner bans 1 stage from the combined Starter + Counterpick list, loser picks stage, winner picks character, loser picks character. The winner of the previous game does not have to keep the same character, but he must pick his character first.

Final Destination/Omegas
Lylat Cruise
Town and City
Smashville
Counterpick stages:
Duck Hunt
Dream Land (64)
Stage Clause: A player may not pick the same stage he or she won on in a previous game of the set unless all players agree.
Gentleman's Stage Clause: If all players agree, they may play on any stage, ignoring other stage selection rules.
A ban/strike on Battlefield counts as a ban/strike for Miiverse and vice versa. A ban/strike on Final Destination counts as a ban/strike for all Omega Stages and vice versa.
In a draw game, lowest percent wins. Sudden Death will only be used if an extra tiebreaker game also ends in tied percents.

4-stock, 8-minutes, all items OFF, item frequency set to NONE, friendly fire ON.
Game 1 selection procedure: players pick characters (blind pick can be requested), players strike stages (1-2-1 order).
Game 2+ selection procedure: winner bans one stage*, loser picks stage, winner picks character, loser picks character.
(*There are no stage bans in best 3-out-of-5 sets.)
Game 1 of each set can only be played on a Starter stage. The remaining games can be played on any legal stage.
The winner of a game is allowed to change character for the next game, but he must pick his character first.
Stage Clause: A player may not pick the same stage he or she won on in a previous game of the set unless both players agree.
Gentleman's Stage Clause: If all players agree, they may play on any stage, ignoring other stage selection rules.
When a game ends by time-over, the victor is decided by most stocks remaining, then lowest percent. Sudden Death is not used.
Infinites such as Wobbling are only legal until 300% damage.
