well... i sort of forgot if i posted a little about this so i looked through my posts and couldnt find it. anyway if i did, i have a vid now as an example. anyway, have you ever noticed that sometimes fsmashes like marth's and diddy's will hit downwards on the stage and you see the little blue stagespike ring and they sort of go flying like fox/falco's dsmash after the hit on the stage? well i figured if you do this off the edge it would spike. i've done the spike before... but i haven't figured out how to do it or time it, and i don't have a vid of THAT. but i do have one on the on-the-stage one. so watch this vid on diddy's fsmash at 2:09-2:15.

lol sorry forgot that... one sec. okay here u go: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iaK7qIfg1fY but i was just thinking about it on a banana spike thread someone posted, and people were talking about bad DI, and that made me think it would apply to this too. there's no banana included here... but it might be bad DI. but who knows? it could also be a rare positioning that makes fsmash send someone downwards. worth a try?

Diddy's fsmash hits twice, my guess is the marth DI'd down and maybe tech'd? Not sure, either way marth's won't spike >_>
