Fsmash edge cancel into Fair

I just Fsmashed on the edge of the stage, hit the person, fell off the stage and faired him instantly after falling off. Is this news?

Er, for clarity, I didn't jump off afterwards, I went directly into the last hit of Fsmash into an Fair. They were so close together, I'm pretty sure it was a combo.

If this is old, I am an idiot.

It's been known that if you Fsmash a shield off the ledge then you fall off... didn't know it worked if you hit hurtbox. But logically you should be able to do a Fair after that. This PROBABLY is a combo, however very situational...

It's old, but like Arc said, pulling it off is more on a matter of luck among other things.
