Freeze During Fights and Awkward Character Movements

I'm absolutely baffled by these freezings I'm having. I've been trying for at least an hour, to no avail.

First, I don't the fighter folder in my SD card, so my characters should act normal. But, as an example of how awkward this is, when I use Peach's Toad, she flies backwards, about the length of a Battlefield platform. I'm not sure whats causing this, because, like I said, I don't have the fighter folder for my character.pacs.

Second, about 20 seconds into an already strange fight, the game freezes. This has happened on stages without textures, as well as stages with textures. So yeah, I'm really stumped.

I'd like to go into more detail about the problems, because of how strange this is. But I can't explain more about it, because I don't know more.

Small edit, and a 12 hour bump.

I removed all the codes from my gct, except for the File Patch code. The result was a freeze trying to load the character select screen.

Yeah, I'm totally confused.
