Free alteernative to flash?

So yeah I have NO money and want to make flash animations. the problem is, they either cost money, are a free trial, or flat out don't work. I have tried PENCIL and I cant seem to get it to work and simply cant make sense out of it. so any FREE alternative to flash? Thanks in advance!

when I was in high school I asked the teacher if I could borrow the Adobe CS3 suite to install on my computer at home and she was like okay but u HAVE to bring it back tomorrow.

What's ironic is what happened before she lent me the CD that "belongs to the school".. She told me to take this external HDD that was plugged into a Mac,It's got the pirated software you're looking for.. I was like "whaaaaaat? a school supporting it?" in my head... i put it in my bag and some douche next class dropped my bag on the ground making a loud thud. I took it home plugged it into my computer and it could not be recognized. I brought it back to school the next day and tried plugging it into the same computer it was plugged into originally an it too could not recognize the HDD. I think that douche broke it lol.

Alternative to Flash? Depends what kind of animation you're doing.

A free Alternative is to pirate it. I'm not bad, even I cant find pirated adobe products. I was forced to pay for a CS4 Suite for uni hen I had a legit copy of CS3 already.

Don't know about flash but Paint.net is the best freeware I've ever downloaded.

Flash player is free. To make flash stuff you gotta cough up some cash.
