Up-B out of shield can work, but there is a chance that the second, fixed low KB hit of the spin will connect, rendering any knockback pointless.Link is just too slow at everything. His best options are rolling away and shield jump Dair and these options are pretty bleak. It exemplifies even more how crucial it is for link to play keep away (reminds me of Nu in BB)
It still comes out way too slow. Link also (I'm pretty sure) has the longest jumping lag out of everyone. All of his out-of-shield options are extremely slow.Up-B out of shield can work, but there is a chance that the second, fixed low KB hit of the spin will connect, rendering any knockback pointless.
up B out of shield is slower than the options I've listed. Not only that, but I have the personal experience that basically tells me upB out of shield is not very good. So many times that I was trapped in my shield just to hear the typical "SKRRAAAA" scream followed by link getting grabbed or jabbed with no UpB coming out.Up-B out of shield can work, but there is a chance that the second, fixed low KB hit of the spin will connect, rendering any knockback pointless.
Yeah, I'm so used to Link's jumping lag that I find running U-Smashes to be difficult with Pika/Mario.It still comes out way too slow. Link also (I'm pretty sure) has the longest jumping lag out of everyone. All of his out-of-shield options are extremely slow.
