Fox shine pressure

I was watching this video a while ago, and I'm just wondering how to get out of shine so quickly, and how you can do that dash-shine consistantly. Please help a noob in need?

Fox's shine auto-cancels upon touching the ground which makes quick, successive shines possible by executing a jump and then immediately pressing down-b. The most common method is dragging your thumb across the left C button over to the B button.

Im working on this myself. Gotten good but I can definitely improve. Its such a good ability to use in various situations.

Cant do it nearly as fast as in that vid though lol
