I know one thread complained about fair. But is it just me or does up tilt and his jabs have less hit stun? I used to consistently juggle with uptilt. Now they just pop out. Also the jab canceling seems harder as well like they don't stun them enough just curious because I feel it's noticeable. Anyone else noTice this or am I on something?

Dantarion went through the 1.03 update files and found that there were no character-specific balance changes, contrary to what nintendo's patch details seemed to imply. Anything that seems different with Fox is your imagination. He hasn't changed since day 1 of Smash 4.

If thats the case then it must seriously be something I am doing because it feels so noticeable. Sorry for this thread but I felt strongly that something was going on.

The staples right now are uptilt to grab at beginning percents because they have time to block another uptilt. A bit later (once they don't have time to block anymore), the staples are a series of uptilts, or uptilt to block vs opponents that can nair you out of repeated uptilts (and you punish them from shield).

In short, the staples from uptilt are exactly the same as Brawl's.

If any uptilt puts the opponent in front of me ('cause sometimes they do that), I like to follow up with jab 2 into grab; although rapid jabs work just fine.

Nair Upsmash also still works as an option select at high percents (If they miss the tech on the nair, free upsmash, if they tech, you grab).

Fair->Upair also works. I've also gotten fair->Fast fall fair to get the meteor effect->more things.

When I get a gamecube controller I'm going to practice uptilt -> Fast fall fair or dair for the meteor effect -> uptilt to repeat. Its the same idea as sheiks chaingrab, except you replace dthrow with uptilt, and upair with fair.
