Fox: Is he number one?

Something I've been thinking about since this thread opened up- look at Ken, PC Chris, Mew2King, and Mango. These smashers all dominated their respective eras more than any other players, and they've all taken out Fox in top-level tournament play and shown us the business. The "most powerful but hardest to use" explanation isn't very emotionally satisfying, but the truth is that with his moveset and speed, Fox is number one in terms of what he makes players capable of.
