You kind of just run in there without any real spacing.

DD and WATCH what the Marth does, wait for some kind of whiffed aerial or grab, then make your move.

Don't just dash in and hope for the best, you need to bait and punish his lag.

If he decides to DD camp you, either laser him or fake empty shines and SH's at him to bait something.

U-throw always, it's like a guaranteed hit if you follow DI.

That vid wasn't part of the set, that was just a random one. And we have 2 sets of 9 up now :D

Anyways, simple things to work on are
1) everything TresChikon said mainly. Marth loves when you approach him, and while it can be scary provoking a Marth into charging at you, it's usually the best option.
2) Watch your positioning. Marth is extremely strong in front and above him but extremely weak below and behind him, so take advantage of that. Also watch your positioning on the stage; we already went over this but don't go by the ledge, and for obvious reasons don't be on a platform above Marth.
3) Edgeguard more. Especially because it's friendlies, you can go for more ballsy edgeguards like I was in these matches. But definitely get used to edgehogging and only letting go if I'm for sure going above you onto the stage or to ledgedrop B-airs or something.
4) U-tilt more :D goes through a lot of stuff if you space it well.
5) When you get the upper hand don't let me take it back. Just keep on top of me. You're Fox, you're fast, use that advantage.
6) Laser and platform camp/be gay
7) Last one and the most abstract, but, do more stupid stuff. Your Fox is really predictable because most of the time, as a Fox player, I can say to myself, "what's the best option in this situation?" and that's the one you'll do. If I try to counter an N-air approach with an F-smash but instead you do like, a dash attack, you'll get under my sword and hit me first.

So yeah overall you just need to move around the stage more smoothly, work on your spacing/stop approaching blindly, and be less predictable. Hope it helps lol.

Yeah... you're mindset seems to just be in black & white thinking. You're either waiting to get back into neutral position, then charge in>repeat.

I would also get just a little more fluid with your technical. Seems really choppy, try doing basic combos like waveshining and l-canceling faster/wavedashing..etc

Movement in general is really static, needs to be more fluent... don't wavedash in place, don't stand still too much
