For those flaming other characters

I am guilty of this myself (flaming Geno and Tinkle).

I honestly think a lot of characters are going to make it into this game... at least 40 something.

So characters like Ridley, Sonic, etc. have a great chance. Also Sakurai stated with the third parties that right now there may possible 1-2 more after Snake but this could change... Meaning there could be more third party characters.

If you add up all the characters that are popular in this board, you can fit all the ones want plus more. For example:

We have almost all the highly wanted characters listed with about 6-7 more still to get to 45. There is plenty of room for almost everybody. Don't feel like you have to flame other characters to get yours in. In the end, there is no telling how many characters will make the game... however, we have a guarantee from the group working on Brawl that this will be the best Brawl ever! They are not going to let us down.

haha true, but I want many of the characters people listed in the game, even ones from games I have not played.

I have never played most the major characters games from originally.

Did not play Earthbound until downloaded it for znes after I got melee (only did because of melee)
Never played any of the Metroids except first one for nes download on computer
Never played F-Zero
Never really played Star Fox a lot
Never played Pokemon
Never played any of the Fire Emblems
Never played Ice Climbers
Never played Game and Watch

However, I loved the characters from these games and if people want more, then great.

LOL your right. I have Windwaker and have beaten it 2x (beat it first time I tried, took me about a month (note: I only played 1-2 hours a day maybe 3-4 days a week).

Tingle didn't annoy me as much as my roommate who I originally borrowed the game from (beat it first with his game, got it off ebay sometime later). However, Tingle to me seems like a waste of a brawl space.

I think the only problem with flaming other characters is when people have no idea what they're talking about usually nor have they experienced first-hand of the character and ignorantly bash them. People like them have no right to even judge unless they actually fully experienced what the said character was about.

Haha, still said there was about 6-7 spots open just to get to 45... although I have even heard rumors of 50 now. Remember initially most people only thought about 18 or so on melee and they suprised us with more.

However, I think there will be a trio of clones once again. I honestly believe Ness makes it and Lucas comes in as a clone.

Well, I flamed a little for Tingle not being in and even Sonic, but I did experience playing with (or around) them and I don't really like to see them in Brawl.

I think he did, but either way, I hope he doesn't...with all the extra time he had, he should've been able to purge all clones from the game...

Well... *Gets a little brave* I THINK CLONES A A FAIRLY USEFUL IDEA!
I'm all for luigifing though, but I think a character from the same universe should have a similar fighting style. Like Pikachu and Pichu or Mario and Luigi, or even Fox and Falco. Its like when you learn to fight, if you're taught that is. You usualy pick up on the styles of your teacher and fellow students.
Exact clones are a real pain though...

Somebody linked me to something where another member of smash team, not Sakurai, stated that there were going to be clones on this one as well due to timing. I don't see the problem with clones because if not for them, Brawl would have had maybe 17 characters or so. Plus they are still slightly different then the person they cloned.
