My Best Buy isn't listed and is apparently going to have it. You guys might be in a similar situation. Don't lose hope yet.

And another thing, a local GameStop said they're getting the demo too?

I find that odd. But they said a Nintendo representative was supposed to be coming down.

Locations may be subject to change, though I really doubt that any of my nearest Best Buy locations will be involved like last year's E3.

Like others have said, that list on the website is subject to change, probably as various locations give confirmations or sign contracts or receive shipments. There are still 2 weeks to go. Things can change. I don't think it's unreasonable to suspect that any location who did the hands on E3 thing last year will probably do Smash this year.

There are no participating Best Buys in my city, they are all in Denver or Broomfield. So; unless they add my city to that list, I am not in luck. I suppose I can check next week.

It's the same way in some other states, such as mine, so I really hope that the locations are indeed subject to change. I'm not driving an hour and a half to play Smash, however hype I am.

Demo not in my city, but a map claims its 28 mins away from where I live so I have that going for me which is nice.

I work at GameStop. I'll see if I can figure anything out regarding a demo.

With how Nintendo was towards Mario Kart 8, since the only mainstream demo was released just weeks before the game's upcoming release, I highly doubt it.

Kind of strange in my case. The Best Buy near me that hosted last year's Nintendo event does not appear to be hosting this year's. I am hoping it is as the OP describes.

If they don't announce that they're having it in that exact store, it's probably not going to be in that building. Not to be a downer, but it's true. Honestly though, no matter how far you have to go, it's worth it in my opinion because you are getting a once in a lifetime chance to play a beta version of Smash 4, which will soon become part of the Smash history. Don't miss out on historical events like this. If you're one of the first 70 people to preorder there you can also get a Smash Bros. coin, which in 5 years will probably be very valuable.

Holy smokes, theres only one Best Buy in AZ with the demo and my friend claims its too far away to drive to.... Better start begging my parents or someone else....
