I think For Glory will mostly be used by those who just want a quick online match.

A bit of a middle ground between fully casual and fully competitive.

I'm hoping that people can make their own rules for different types of tournaments. Miis allowed. Customs. stat changes. etc.

For Glory to play against random players around the world. Tourney to play against familiar people.

Definitely Tournaments! The less camping, rolling, ranged spamming noobs, the better!

Thank god, we don't need to spam FD anymore!

Definitely will be looking into tourneys. I think they'll offer a more fleshed out online competitive experience...possibly. I like the fact that there will be infinitely more stage variety than For Glory (which might finally end Little Mac's reign of terror), but I'm a bit worried about the possibility that communication between participants will be nonexistent, which will make stuff like stage striking obsolete (and depending on how well-versed the person you're playing is in competitive Smash, might force having to deal with some of the game's more annoying stages.) Overall though, I think the pros far outweigh the cons, so I'll be spending most of my time on tourney mode methinks.
