Footstool to Spike (Dair)

Today, and actually I few times I noticed a few frames were added when I would spike people with Marth's Dair. I saved the replay, and watched a few more times and realized I spiked after initiating a footstool jump...

Since I've done this a few times already with perfect spikes... I was wondering if any high level player can verify and confirm if the footstool gives perfect spacing for Marth's Dair.

Thank You.

Not sure if it'll help anyone, but try it--it's pretty cool. Yeah, not sure if competitive players get a chance to pull of a premeditated footstool.

I can't pull of a footstool on command. There any way to practice?

Thanks again.

Yep, it's known that a footstool will most likely give you a dair tipper. Pretty awesome if you can get it to work.

Just be careful if you miss the footstool, cause if you automatically hit jump + dair, you may get edgehogged when you try to be up b (since you've lost your jump and you're extremely low because dair is so laggy)

Yeah, it's dobable. I've done it a few times, but you need good timing. Footstools are easy. Practice doing them on non-mobile opponents, so you can get an idea of the line up you are looking for. Then go to Battlefield in training mode, stand on one of the two lower platforms, set the computer to walk, and practice falling on them and footstooling as they walk by. Also, set them to jump, and jump up and footstool them. I never found it hard to do, but if I did, this is how I would practice.
