Floor Blasting

Just to be sure we're all on the same page, floor blasting is PKT2ing into the ground so you are in a "down" state, where you are invincible and can use a getup attack, or roll either direction, right? Assuming that's what floor blasting is, what you you guys usually do after doing it? I usually just roll either way and pull out the stick, but I want to know other ways to use it, since most people will have no idea what you're doing.

it's a decent idea, but it's rarely practical to floorblast.
reason being by the time you've circled PK thunder all the way around you've probably been smacked in the face.

the only reason i would use this is as a mindgame
the same reason i would use a zap jump, etc.

oh, and i would roll to jab attack: a nice quick move helps reduce the probability of being techchased.

It can be advantageous, but be careful, because it sets up what is essentially a tech-chase for the opponent, which is advantageous for them.

i usually do for mindgame oh i remember ness boards " spam but not abuse" (fair) anyway i use with slow chars ike but i dont think too useful against meta for example...

only times I floorblast are as an antijuggling technique. Shoot yourself straightdown and immediately do a get up attack. Works until your opponent figures out what you're doing. Don't just keep trying it or you will be punished. Funny to watch people the first few times though.

Getups attacks AKA flex kicks are very high in priority and have invulnerability frames.

i apologize for dismissing this earlier: i threw this into my game using it sparingly so my friend wouldn't catch on and i got me a couple nice roll to bat moves :D
