First tourn. with Snake.

I've been playing Snake as a second for a decent amount of time, but I'm going to a tournament in Alabama this weekend and I'll be using him as my main because Ike seems to have some troubles placing high in tournaments. I was just wanting some tips for this.

I've read the Snake Character Match-Up guides already and they've seem to help me. I just wanted some player to player tips. Thanks.

i remember the first time i used snake in tourney. i beat a MK hehe. ive never looked back. snake is way too good.

just remember that u never have to approach as snake. some exceptions may be fox/falco/wolf/pit but u'll learn quickly. if you have to camp them the whole time with nades until ur nerves cool down. always warm up with your nade game ahead of time too. never go in cold.

First Tourney with Snake I picked FD against a Falco.... don't do that. Other than that Snake is good enough to beat out alot of the average people there. It's when you get to the good people who knows the matchup very well you realize that Snake doesn't do that well.

Alright, well thanks guys so far. Haha. I'm sure it'll be a tad nerve racking going in with a new character. I'll let you know how it goes Saturday night when I return. But what do you think about Snake v. Marth or Snake v. Oli/GAW? Last time I went to a tourn., a lot of them showed up.

Marth and Olimar is a pain.... GAW is easy overall for Snake
