This, plus you hardly get much of a chance to feel out the game with the laggy Wii U Pro controller and chaotic elements surrounding you.I might not know exactly why, but perhaps it may be due to the fact that the matches are only 2 minutes long in the demo.
Considering that I'll likely be using the Pro Controller for this game anyway, it'll be a chance to adapt. This, plus you hardly get much of a chance to feel out the game with the laggy Wii U Pro controller and chaotic elements surrounding you.
I'd HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend against it, unless there is a way to wire it directly to the WiiU. The input lag is ferocious and really really distracting from gameplay.Considering that I'll likely be using the Pro Controller for this game anyway, it'll be a chance to adapt.
... at some tourney settings... when playing at that high of a level.I'd HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend against it, unless there is a way to wire it directly to the WiiU. The input lag is ferocious and really really distracting from gameplay.
There was nothing competitive about the matches at Best Buy today. The input literally took almost a full second from the time you press the button until the input went through (maybe exaggerating, but it was at least half a second). Doesn't seem like long, but it felt like I was playing a Brawl match with an awful internet connection.... at some tourney settings... when playing at that high of a level.
Honestly I understand the need for wired controllers when there's a ton and a half of interference and every single frame matters, but in typical day to day play it's that "ferocious" by any stretch of the imagination.
Hence why it's simply a demo. The final product will likely fix up all the bugs that the demo may have had.I'd HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend against it, unless there is a way to wire it directly to the WiiU. The input lag is ferocious and really really distracting from gameplay.
Well then they better convince us otherwise before release. Some people at my Buy were calling it "Brawl 2.0" I told them it's not finished yet.
Really? I liked the controller a lot better than the Gamecube controller. I though it felt much better...I'd HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend against it, unless there is a way to wire it directly to the WiiU. The input lag is ferocious and really really distracting from gameplay.
