Put in natures first.
Also for Gengar, don't use Dark Pulse. Use Explosion/ Hypnosis instead.
BTW: is this for Shoddy or Wifi?

Oh ****, I thought I'd put in natures, apparently not.
I'll edit in natures + one more pokemon I've decided on now.

And this is for shoddy, but I'm working on including some for wi-fi too. (working on Aerodactyl on the DS atm)

Its nice seeing Aerodactal being used for something else except for just setting up the rocks. Lol, just add in Scizor, Rotom-H, Salamence, and/or Scarftran, your team would be in business.

Hey. Yeah, I'm very new to this whole thing. I didn't even know what EV's were til a few weeks ago.
I'm only going to post half a team at the moment, partly because I simply want to know if I'm going in the right direction, and partly because I'm an indecisive *** who can't choose his other three pokemon D;

Please criticise, suggest improvements, additions, that kinda thing :)

Gengar
6HP/252Spd/252SpA
@ Leftovers

Dark Pulse
Focus Blast
Shadow Ball
Sludge Bomb

ok first of all get rid of your dark pulse or sludge bomb. get rid of it for a hypnosis and a destiny bond. change your item to focus sash because gengar wont last one hit if u dont have that and plus leftovers wont heal fast enough to do anything useful

Aerodactyl
38HP/252Att/220Spd
@ Life Orb

Stone Edge
Rock Slide
Earthquake
Crunch

your aerodactyl is fine but if your want to make this pokemon some irritating grass pokemon i suggest aerial ace over crunch. because your gengar covers all the weaknesses crunch covers. plus aerial ace has stab making it 90 base power and will never miss. you dont need two rock type attacks since it isnt necessary so get rid of one and put taunt because your team is pretty vulnurable to stat raising moves, spikes and stealth rock ect. recovery moves and status moves

Skarmory
100Spd/158HP/252Def
@ leftovers

Brave Bird
Roost
Stealth Rock
Toxic

make your skarmory an all out defender. get rid of brave bird and give it spikes for it will irritate the hell out of people who like to switch out. your can leave toxic but i would prefer to teach it roar to get the most of the switch in hazards

Yes, I know, it's bad that I haven't decided on all my Pokemon. What big things am I missing from my team? Free to suggestions pointing me in the right direction.
Thanks in advance.

your team will be alright after this

Gengar

@ Leftovers
Modest nature
Dark Pulse
Focus Blast
Shadow Ball
Sludge Bomb
Dark Pulse and Sludge Bomb arn't that great. Go Timid, give him a Choice Scarf and trick, to **** up other leads. Instead of Dark Pulse use Thuderbolt to OHKO Gyra.

Aerodactyl
38HP/252Att/220Spd

@ Life Orb
Adamant nature
Stone Edge
Rock Slide
Earthquake
Crunch
Hm, do you know what he can outspeed with that set? Other than that, don't use both Stone Edge and RockSlide. Change one of them to Ice/ Fire Fang

Skarmory
100Spd/158HP/252Def
Impish nature
@ ???

Brave Bird
Roost
Stealth Rock
Toxic
What are the Speed EVs for? Change either Toxic or Brave Bird to Whirlwind to **** up your opponents team.

Blissey
58HP/200Spd/252SpD
Calm nature
@ Leftovers

Thunder Wave
Soft Boiled
Seismic Toss
Wish (...I couldn't think of anything else D; )

Yes, I know, it's bad that I haven't decided on all my Pokemon. What big things am I missing from my team? Free to suggestions pointing me in the right direction.
Thanks in advance.
I would go Toxic over TW and Flame Thrower over Sesmic Toss. Y use Soft Boiled and wish? Change Soft Boiled to Protect to scout for attacks, and allow you Toxic to take its toll.

Thanks very much Sonic, I just edited another pokemon in though D;

I was considering giving Gengar a Focus Sash, as I was giving Aerodactyl Taunt.
I'd rather not give Gengar Hypnosis, because I hate that thing. I'll probably drop either Sludge Bomb or Dark Pulse for Destiny Bond though.

Aerodactyl, yeah it doesn't need two rock moves. What was I thinking? D;

Thanks again to everyone who's contributed so far. I was actually thinking of putting Scizor in too, along with Metagross for the final spot, but I don't know yet.

I would go MetaGross, because 1/2 of you team so far can't get hit by EQ, so...ya.:embarrass

i agree but his team is vulnurable to thunder bold and ice beam. i still would go with metagross because he and eq and he can get rid of those ice with meteor mash

metagross
adamant
252 att/252 def/ 4 hp or sp def
clear body
wide lens

moves
eq (duh)
meteor mash
zen headbut/ ice punch/ bullet punch
hammer arm/explosion

if your go with headbut then you will cover gengars, venusaurs and the fire monkey and fire chicken. if you go with ice punch (which will be usefull) you will own the dragons. if you go with bullet punch you can gaurntee a ko if your opponents hp is really low and stab boosts it to 60 base power which is decent. hammer arm if you want to play with trick room or if you want to kill normals like ambipom, blissey, or lickylicky and explosion if you want to finish off your opponent. tho i reccomend using this when tagteamed with aerodactyl or skarmory

Not to be harsh or anything, but that is a pretty bad set. Go with the Agiligross set or the CB Gross set on Smogon, IMO, the Agiligross set works better.

Some big edits, added a pokemon nobody suggested.
Purely experimental.
It's going to basically keep cursing until it Baton Passes to say Metagross which then hits **** mode.
I'm not sure how well it'll work though. Please make a note of any pokemon which basically just counters my whole team, and I'll try change things to get around it.

Cheers.

nice but i think your umbreon should be impish or carefull. i dont know but i think this set will be good. i would take out the sub for moonlight becasue it lets him last way longer. otherwise this will work out fine. but for your metagross. i dont know about the gyro ball. cuz it dont have enough pp to be effective with choice band. i would give him brave and an iron ball for max effectiveness if you are gonna use that moveset. with a speed of 65 including the iron ball and nature deductions it will cause havoc. if he was fighting a max speed crowbat then it will have a base power of 151. then with added stab it will have a power of 226.5.

i used the gyro ball formula to get that

base power= 25* (opponents speed/your speed)

For skarmory I would switch toxic for whirlwind, and you need a spiker that way you max out skarmory's speed and give it choice scarf to out speed most everything and just kill like that.

what r u talking about. skarmory dont have toxic anymore. he switched it for roar. does the same thing as whirlwind tho. and choice scarf only lets you to use one move and if his scarmory is a spiker then he will be spaming either roar, or spikes over and over again.

ps i think you should change out that brave bird for spikes

Woo! another persons team to rate...

Here goes...

Hey. Yeah, I'm very new to this whole thing. I didn't even know what EV's were til a few weeks ago.

Please criticise, suggest improvements, additions, that kinda thing :)

Gengar
Modest nature
6HP/252Spd/252SpA
@ Focus Sash

Destiny Bond
Focus Blast
Shadow Ball
Sludge Bomb

Focus sash is okay, depending on what you're going to be doing with your gengar, but if i were you i'd throw a choice item or Expert Belt(strongly reccomend the belt) So that you're going to make a hit that would kill or leave a huge dent in the opposition. Sludge bomb is not really good, as the only supereffective move you'll get is against a grass type. For the Flying-type Leads I suggest T-Bolt. its okay other than that

Aerodactyl
Adamant nature
38HP/252Att/220Spd
@ Life Orb

Stone Edge
Taunt
Earthquake
Crunch

Aerodactyls = Too Good. Dont teach it taunt unless its your lead. because no-ones gonna try and set up on you halfway through the battle. Ice Fang would be excellent as a replacement, to make the dragon types cringe. Life orb is good, but you're losing HP so if i were you i would opt for the Expert Belt again :)

Skarmory
Impish nature
6SpD/252HP/252Def
@ Leftovers

Brave Bird
Roost
Stealth Rock
Roar

Leftovers is good, EV spread seems okay... Yet again, if you're not going to use this as a lead, then get rid of SR. Another attack to cover your ranges. Roar is alright, although Whirlwind is better, because the Soundproof ability wont be hindering you. not that it would anyways. This one is okay.

Blissey
Calm nature
58HP/200Spd/252SpD
@ Leftovers

Toxic
Soft Boiled
Seismic Toss
Protect

Calm is okay, but to be honest i would have went for Bold and gave it 252 Def. to help with surviving those nasty earthquakes, remember, there are more physical attackers than there are Sp Atkrs in competitive battling IMO. Moveset... is it a stalling moveset? if it is then its good. :)

Metagross
Brave nature
6SpD/252Att/252Def
@ Choice Band

Earthquake
Explosion
Gyro Ball
Ice Punch

Right, Brave is good... EV spread seems okay, but i would have put 6 EVs into the HP instead. Choice band..... lets explain this to you...

{Non Choice item....... Explosion = Good choice.
{Choice Item....... Explosion = Bad Choice.

Change the move or item.
Ice punch is okay i guess. Gyro ball on a Metagross = Epic Phail! Earthquake... decent.
Thats all i have to say here.

Umbreon
Sassy nature
6HP/252Def/252SpD
@ Leftovers

Baton Pass
Curse
Protect
Substitute

Leftovers is good, but consider that berry that stops speed from being lowered. So that you get an efficient Bulk Up from curse, and baton passed to your metagross, would be an efficient sweeper in return. However, that may require you change your moveset. So it is entirely up to you. nothing else to say.

What big things am I missing from my team? Free to suggestions pointing me in the right direction.
Thanks in advance.

No. Only really use Focus Sash and Choice Scarft on a Gengar lead (for tricking). Pesonally, I think this is a better Gengar lead set.

Gengar @ Choice Scarf
Timid/ Naive/ Hasty
252 Speed/ 252 SpAttack
Trick
Shadow Ball
Thunder Bolt/ Explode
Focus Blast/ Explode

Aerodactyls = Too Good. Dont teach it taunt unless its your lead. because no-ones gonna try and set up on you halfway through the battle. Ice Fang would be excellent as a replacement, to make the dragon types cringe. Life orb is good, but you're losing HP so if i were you i would opt for the Expert Belt again
No. Aerodactal is already frail as ****, so you might as well just use Life Orb for more power.

No, srsly. Everything is good exept for the Roar part. Just use Whirlwind over Roar.

Blissey

No, jk THIS time though. Just switch the Speed EVs in Def. You would keep the nature the same tho. Don't use Protect unless your gonna use wish. Srsly.

Right, Brave is good... EV spread seems okay, but i would have put 6 EVs into the HP instead. Choice band..... lets explain this to you...

No. Just No this time (@ the 1st and 2cd part anyways the last of the 3rd part is okay advice). I C what your doin =D Smart =D. Other then that, that set is passable. Change the Def EVs to HP/ SpDef, cuz ur already gonna give you Metagross Def Boost. Change the Item though, maybe to Leftovers/ Life Orb, because you do NOT want to waste those BP Curses.

Leftovers is good, but consider that berry that stops speed from being lowered. So that you get an efficient Bulk Up from curse, and baton passed to your metagross, would be an efficient sweeper in return. However, that may require you change your moveset. No. just No.

I like what you done with the BP Curses to Metagross. nice =D
EDIT: BTW use Aromatherapy on Blissey to cure Umbreon/ MetaGross of Status.

The meaning of RMT is Rate-My-Team. Not RMRMTS (Rate-My-Rate-My-Team)
Everyone has a different opinion, and using the same strategies for every poke gets a little boring, I like to suggest new stuff.

Were you talking about me with the BP curse to Metagross? o.O
If you were then thanks :)

I actually did quite a bit of editing a few hours ago, I'll update the first post with that changes I've made. Nothing too drastic.

Description would really help. srsly

Huh? trick room? where?
no cuz that is the set i use and my team is very slow. i start with my slowbro and metagross. slowbro executes trick room.

he can mod his team to maybe start with fast acting pokemon then when they die, one of his pokemon uses trick room to benifit the whole team

Dont give it SR And spikes. just SR, cuz then everything that comes out is always going to get damaged. if you want to keep the set then stick it to a defensive pokemon.

what are you talking about? Just use wish then switch out to the poke you want to heal. also wish+protect does the exact same thing a softboiled except stalls them out oh PP more

lol skarm is a defensive pokemon. 140 def.
Stealth Rock and Spikes are not affected by a pokemon's defence. Spikes wont hit a Skarm, as it is a flying type. Plus, If SR is out and the opponent switches in Charizard -or something along those lines- then thats half damage.
