Final Smash - recovery?

Will final smashes be used as like an uber recovery. Eg Diddy can fly back onto the stage or sonic etc. Or can the only be activated from the ground.

Yes i believe if you read Gimpyfish62's brawl impressions he uses link's final smash to recover.

Yeah they could be used that way. Actually, Gimpy posted about something I was thinking about before, which was using Link's FS to recover and to get a kill. It kinda works like fox and falco's illusion, so he just lined himself up with his opponent while off the ledge and slammed into him with his FS.

Of course, this is assuming you don't get the Smash Ball knocked out of you...

yeah I read that about links FS but what about fox's. He go off stage hops in his tank and lands down. will this be on the stage or will it be from where you activated the smash ball

like SJAK47 said, you'll probably get the smash ball knocked away from you if you get hit that hard.

Apparently not... Obviously Button Mashing wont work for Final Smashes....

Yes, you can use Final Smashes in the air. Theres a vid up with Mario doing his airborne.

This could be another recovering technique. Pretty good idea.

unlikely, cause if you get hit too much the smash ball gets knocked out of you

I doubt it would be useful, as if your hit too hard to recover normally, your finalsmash would probably get beaten out of you
