You guys are always complaining... ><

Did Melee have K.Rool? No.
Did Melee have Geno? No.
Are we complaining about Melee? No.

We should be happy with what Sakurai gave us;
-Online Gameplay
-SSE
-More Stages than Melee
-More Characters than Melee
-Vault
-Wario.

Ha, my friend cried when he found out there was no Mewtwo. But I like the roster. I mean 39 guys. Well, to me more like 35 but whatever. THats a good amount! And everythings all new and sparkley and it's going to a be along while before it gets old.

1) Fail, I haven't played Metroid Prime games but I know enough to know Dark Samus isn't a clone.

2) Fail. Olimar was the size of a quarter. You failed even harder bringing up Bowser due to the fact he has been resized numerous times in the canon and non-canon Mario games.

3) Series need villain reps Mario=Bowser, Link=Ganondorf, Kirby-DeDeDe, Fox=Wofl. Taking out Mewtwo was a big mistake imo, but w/e.

4) This argument could be applied to Marth, but whoops! He's in.

5) "I don't care", you might not, but others do. Opinion, w/e.

6) Agreed

7) Agreed to an extent. Sakurai does have a say in which 3rd parties can join like he did with Sega and Konami.

8) Fail. See 3, series need more villain representation

9) Fail. See 3 and 8

10) Opinion, w/e.

Yes, we're out of our minds because Sakurai said he was going to cut down on clones since he disliked them, and because we got our hopes up when we he released his poll for character suggestions, giving the impression he might have a bigger roster. /sarcasm
well said.

Ridley's wings are big, and to keep them to scale, he would have to be tiny compared to the other characters. If they made the wings smaller, he would just look ridiculous.

4) This argument could be applied to Marth, but whoops! He's in.
Marth wasn't put in Melee just to advertise a game.

How many games has Mega Man had for Nintendo systems? I can name 10 off the top of my head. Want me to start?

Mega Man 1-6 for NES.
Mega Man X 1-3 for SNES.
That's 9.
All those Network Transmission and Battle Net games? They all sucked, so we'll call that 11.
Star Force & Command Mission, that makes 13.
Mega Man ZX makes 14.

14 games for Nintendo systems, + like another 5 for PS/2? They put Mega Man into ****ty *** card-based RPG games, but not Smash Brothers? He **** sure has more games than Pit, ROB, Lucario, and Lucas put together.

I personally find new modes and features more exiting than characters. Don't get me wrong, I love playing as new characters, but just because we didn't get everyone we wanted doesn't have to make the game disappointing. If more characters were to be put in the game would have probably been delayed again. Instead of getting K. Rool and Geno we got Stage Builder. Instead of Mewtwo and Megaman we got Subspace Emissary (that is a metaphorical comparison, but you get my point).

I'm perfectly fine with the way the game came out. In fact, I think it's brilliant. The only flaws I see are the exclusion of Krystal, Ridley, and Megaman. Other than that, this kicks the crap out of all other games in the past 7-8 years.

I'm thrilled that the Star Fox series got the representation it deserved, although I could have hoped for a little more than clones. Anyway, I now only mourn the rival Metroid and F-Zero series, which were promptly robbed of equal representation. But, Ridley appeared as an SSE boss, and Samurai Goroh as an assist trophy. Not really enough, but it's a step in the right direction.

Still don't know why Andross's AT is the SNES one instead of the N64 one. Even the one from Adventures (Ganondross as I call him) would have sufficed.
