Alright now that the uncovered event is over, I want to know what you guys think of all the things we're getting. Personally I think it's a little overboard (we don't need advent children 2) but I can see where it would also be really cool. Opinions?

It was interesting. The events definitely wasn't targeted to the FF fans that you would normally expect. I'll say that while some stuff I didn't care for or was a bit on the cringey side of things, it was still a good event. The stuff that would get videogame fans excited were there. Lots of good videos that made the game look pretty interesting. As for the reveals, Square really went out there. That's a lot of money. So many big names or projects, no wonder it took this long. That's a lot of money going into this project.

It sort of makes me wonder how much of this was from patrons or whatever. This all can't be out of their own pockets, people were invested in the idea for sure. You can't have a game be in development hell for all these years, restart, and have all these side things. That's a lot of time and resources just for 9 years or so.

I think the demo is a neat thing. I can't play it since no PS4 yet, but it's a cool free gift for the fans. We didn't need to buy a movie or another game for a demo this time. I don't think it really needed an anime or a movie. I'm not too excited for them, but I'll check it out.

I didn't get a chance to see the event because work. I was planning on looking into it, but it's been more fun hearing about the absolutely ridiculousness of it by word of mouth. The demo is huge, I've gone out grocery shopping and it still hasn't finished.

Well, I'll give Sqeenix this. They're trying their hardest to make sure this game puts FF back on the map.
