Feudal Japan - Legend of Zelda models

So I know the incredible feats one most go through and the time it takes in creating character models, though I just wanted to plug in an idea and see if anyone has or will take on this project. I came across an awesome image while googling (posted below) and was wondering, has anyone considered making feudal japan versions of Link, Zelda, or Ganon? i.e. Ronin/Samurai Link, or Geisha Zelda, or Shogun/Warlord Ganon. I think it be awesome if this was made available to the community with recolors. I'm pretty much a noob/have no experience in making 3D models but wanted to put this idea out there and see if there are any taker?
