Hello and good day to you! I've been trying out some of the texture hacking and decided to take my hand at a thread here on Smashboards. With that said, I'll be taking some requests as well, so scroll the way down to see if you can get one too!

There will always be no more than TWO "featured textures", they will show you in big pictures what it's all about - Sakurai style! For those who miss the DOJO!!, this should be good enough. The other, older textures will move down and simply get thumbnails.

Kenshiro
Kenshiro, the star of the famous anime series "Fist of the North Star" (or "Hokuto no Ken") has joined. That's really great, isn't it. Kenshiro has a lot of looks, but I decided to use one that looks the most like the anime version. It still needs some fixing though..

Kenshiro still needs some work.. Falcon doesn't appear to be the easiest to edit.

We all know him. Good old Duke Nukem is my best texture so far... I hope you enjoy this texture and USE it! It's specifically made for a red team color, by the way.

Q: I want to request a texture!
A: Of course you do! Well, I have some conditions. I don't have all the time in the world to make these things, so I'll only pick the ones that I actually like, whether I like the idea or the portrayed character. To be honest though.. I like a lot of things. So why don't you ask?

Q: But what if you don't want to do my texture?
A: Go to somebody else. You can go on Kittycorp forums, or ask Illianex, who's doing a similiar thread (although he's probably swamped as it is).

Q: So how do I make these textures work?
A: Don't ask me, check out the other threads.

Q: What textures are you currently working on?
A: Here's a nice list:
1. Deadpool (Falcon)
2. Tuxedo Snake?! (...snake)
etc

Btw, could you make some "decent" stage textures for the following?:Frigate Orpheon, Pokemon Stadium, Pokemon Stadium 2, Lylat Cruise, Halberd,, Castle Siege, Warioware,Inc., Smashville, Shadow Moses Island, Rainbow Cruise, Brinstar, and Big Blue.

This would give us textures for EVERY SINGLE STAGE (except Jungle Japes, cuz the texture for that stage has play boy, and that is bad if u play wit ur parents watching. I like how Jungle Japes is already, lol)

BTW, if u did not know, I am making a stage texture compilation, so that we have PRETTY MUCH every stage. I want mah jungle japes the same, plz!

My stage compilation can be found on the first oage of the Texture Database, and is updated regularly, btw.

I know that this is a HUGE request, but plz, its for the children. lol :)

Well, for Warioware, you could have a bunch of awesome faces. For the pokemon stadiums, do whatever you like, i just want it pretty different from the original ones. For Lylat Cruise, maybe you could texture the meteors into cheese? And the ship into an all white ship. Call it: Meteors are made out of cheese. For Smashville, make everything all "Devilish", including the stage, and the people in the backround. For Rainbow Cruise, do whatever you want. A twilight Halberd would be awesome, btw. For Shadow Moses and Frigate Orpheon, make everything have nice colors (girly would be best, lol), and make smily faces be everywhere. Lastly, for Big Blue, do whatever you want, but know this: Captain Falcon's face everywhere would be so... beautiful. For extra credit, texture the Alligator in Jungle Japes to be green, because green is better than blue.

Yea, like I said, a lot of requests.

Meh, any at all would be sweet! Most of them are simple recolors, with a few added details.

Could you make an "Illuminati" texture? For anybody at all, but sum Snake would be cool, because that is how the book goes. Just read it!

It would be extremely hard, though.

Well, I tried editing stages.. But honestly, it's too hard for me at this point. There's so many files and parts of which I have no idea that it's a little bit overwhelming. I'll have to get some more experience first.

I added KENSHIRO, from Fist of the North Star. It still needs some work. I tried to erase the glasses, but I have no clue how. All that time redrawing his face was pretty useless. Ah well.

EDIT: I'll work on Deadpool and Tux Snake next.

Can you make some sort of Smashville texture? I can't find one anywhere! If you don't feel like it, I would be happy with just a link to one.

When I discovered this texture, I nearly crapped my pants. But when I tried it...earthworm gym came out! Don't get me wrong, EWJ is cool, but he's not the Fist of the North Star!
