My favorites are Final fantasy 1-3, and also the entire dragon worrior series (not the new ones, just the ones for nintendo.)

A whole lot of people think of Final fantasy when they think of videogame RPGs, but it was really the dragon worrior series that really defined Modern RPGs. It's pretty much the 'grandaddy' of all RPG's.

Hehe. They're comming out with a remake of 4 for the PSX sometime this year. knifty!

Also, of coarse, the Mario, Metroid, and castlevania series.

OH, and the first zelda game. The second wasn't that great, but the first one rocked. (IMHO)

That's the truth. I can never get the overworld theme from DW1 out of my head.

Sorry Jax, but Enix reveled that they canceled the production of DW4 for the PSX some time ago. It sucks!!:mad: :mad: :mad:

WTF? This is the original NES disscussion, not SNES.

And INFESTD, I have those two games, they're pretty cool, at least MM6 was.

Ice Hockey! Where Czechoslovakia and the Soviet Union are still dominating the world, Canada's national colour is green and a big fat guy can throw everybody else down! Fun stuff. Liked it better than Blades of Steel.

Mega Man (1-6), Super Mario Bros., Duck Hunt, Metroid, Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy, Dragon Warrior, Kirby's Adventure, Castlevania and Ninja Gaiden are the games that complete the NES.

On toeher notes, Final Fantasy 2 and 3 (the Japanese numbers) were never released here. FF3 was okay but FF2 was terrible. You didn't have levels and the game worked of a skill system, where if you attack often, you get Attack points, you get hit often, you get hit points, and if you cast magic often, you get magic points. The system was flawed to no end, and ruined the game. It takes a very long time to gain significant differences, and generally you have to spend half the game trying to build up your stats and it gets very frustrating. While some people like it, most don't.

I've never had a NES, but I've played several remakes of some of the games, plus I downloaded some for my Wii's VC.

I guess my favorit'es The Legend of Zelda, or Super Mario Bros.

Playing Punch-Out! on Animal Crossing(GCN) revived my interest for that game.
Super Mario Bros. and Wario's Woods are some of my favorites.
