I really enjoyed season 1 and the Johto journies. After that the direction taken by the show became more and more kiddyish(No its not because I grew up, I rewatched seasons 1-3 like 6 months ago lol)

I've come to appriciate the newest series for B&W, but I still love the 1st season. It just seems more comical than the newer ones.

I think its simply because back in the earlier seasons they were allowed to get away with more. Hell I'd be surprised if some parents didnt **** a brick at Dawn wearing a skirt.
