The scan I saw had nothing to do with Brawl. It just talked about the new AC for the Wii and its specs, compatability with the Wild World game, and other information.

The scans were in Japanese, so if you didn't know Japanese, you could easily have been tricked. Oh well....

Brawl is a totally new game. By that logic, there must have been a character for every item and piece of music too.

Honestly, there is no reason why there couldn't be a stage, item and everythng, but no fighter.

It's hard to say, unless someone can legibly translate it, it's entirely possible to be true. You can't really tell, the Japanese text could possibly say exactly what the person on Gamefaqs said it said.

An AC character would be cool but i can't imagine what his smash attacks would be. His specials would obviously be like his axe and stuff like that but what would he do to smash attack? Would they give him fighting moves like they did Mario?

It had nothing about an interview concerning a Brawl character. It only talked about the new game and its features.

Unless there is another article out there, no yet scanned or online, I don't know what else to say. IGN apparently is quoting the supposed article....but they don't reveal their sources...unless we ask?

Fishing rod could be the throw, slingshot/bug net/parasol for n/f/u specials, d could be burying a pitfall or something. Normal brawl attacks could consist of using the axe and shovel in a variety of ways. Not to mention your regular punches and kicks...

I still feel an AC character is very very likely based on what has been revealed on Dojo.

Aye, agreed that could be the case, but all im saying is its a logic saying there is a higher chance, obviously nothings definate yet.
It just makes me wonder why every other stage we have been shown has an already unveiled representative, except AC.
combined with the AC logo on the site, in my opinion the likelyhood is substantially higher than most other predicted newcomers.

p.s sakurai is a cheeky guy for causing so much suspision in each post, but hey we'd all kiss that man if we could.... right?
