Okay.
Falco is one of the most important characters in the Star Fox series. He always had a lot of background story, I believe he's only bested by Fox and two others or so? He also appeared in EVERY Star Fox game, hailed as the second-best pilot, only Fox was better. He also had a slightly important role in Adventures, helping you out against the final boss. He's also one of the more popular Star Fox characters.
That and he's just awesome.

- He's arguably more popular amongst the Star Fox fans than Fox himself.
- He's second in command on the team, and he's the best technical flyer (possibly second to Fox, though I've been under the impression that Falco bests him there. Could be my fanboyism). VERY important memeber of the team.
- He was in Melee. Granted, yes, he was a clone. But he can easily be decloned and the fact that he made it in over Wolf definitely says something. Sakurai saw Falco fit to be the second Star Fox rep, when he could've put in someone like Wolf, Slippy or Peppy. Krystal's a slightly different matter because she hadn't been added to the series yet.
- He's actually a different character, unlike many other clones (Young Link. . . Pichu [kind of]. . . Dr. Mario) so it's not like it's just Fox hogging two selection spaces.
- He's a BAMF.

Another reason is that if Falco got booted out, there would only be one star fox representative. (Assuming that they don't add Krystal or Wolf, which I think they will) Which is absurd because it is one of Nintendo's most popular series, I'm sure lots of fans want Falco back in Brawl. So that being said, how would 1 star fox rep. look against 5-6 mario representatives? Pretty ridiculous.

Ganondorf is returning and he was a clone...
...Falco doesn't have to be a clone you know...They could easily change his moveset in Brawl

I don't think that's necessarily true, and even if it were, there's nothing unfair about that. People will play with who they like. If they like Falco better than Fox (as many SF fans do, regardless of Melee stats) then so be it.

That's still not logical enough...he can be given a new MS no problem...I want a logical, non-biased reason other than the weak clone argument for Falco to be excluded from Brawl...

He's been Fox's right hand man since the beginning...
He's top tier...
He's to Fox like Luigi is to Mario...
There isn't one SF game he didn't appear in...

Star Fox Adventures was the worst in the series. Plus Wolf TOTALLY PLAYED a huge roll in that. Who do you want to play as, that annyoing frog Slippy=??? Peppy=??? ROB 64=??? Andross' left hand=??? The Great Fox=??? THE PLANET CORNERIA=???

Reasons Falco should bei n Brawl
1.He's definitely the most popular SF character, along with Fox.
2.He's argueably the 2nd most important character, fighting with Krystal and Wolf.
3.He's not a troll.
4.He ***** any other Star Fox member all day long (minus my main man Fox).
5.He's wanted by nearly everyone to be in Brawl.
6.Because I say so.
7.He's been in every Star Fox game. A feat that only Slippy and Peppy match, and they're dumb (minus Mr. Barrel ROll himself).
8.He's cool.
9.Because giant Fanbases say so.
10.Because if he isn't in Brawl, I'll form a boycott of the game, and cause it to be delayed until he's in (or 2008).
11.Your one idiot who doesn't want him in. Hundreds of thousands of people want him back vs. like 500 people. DEAL WITH IT!
12.because he's probably already programmed in the game.
13.Because clones rule! *points at Solid f***ing Snake, the man who killed Chuck Norris*

As to Starmie being a troll, I'm honestly unsure. Doesn't seem obvious enough. If he is a troll, he does a real good job of just making himself look like a moron. What he's saying may not be logical, but he still seems to believe what he says.

As soon as a mod sees this thread...
1. It's already been confirmed that there will be NO CLONES in Brawl, so he should return. He'd have his own moveset anyway.
2. I found him to be faster then Fox in Melee.
3. Falco is actually pretty important, if you've ever played Starfox 64.
I can't really come up with anything else to list, but I'm at least pretty happy with the fact that he wont be a clone character this time around.
