I watched the vs Falcon vid and can see why you might be having trouble against him. You're extremely offensive, which isn't a horrible thing entirely, but you lack in defense do to your offense. With my main opponent being a falcon of about equal skill to the one you versed, I know from experience with that match up that it's better to bait him in and gain control rather than to go right in his face and try to out combo the combo king. You can pretty much can outprioritize/range Falcon's every approach with a Fair ( this one doesn't work against knee for the most part ), U-tilt, or F-smash so, by staying back and watching for his approach, you should be able to prevent his nasty combos from getting started.
Hope that halps.

that helps alot. i guess against falcons you gotta be more patient and bait him into attacking but his dash dance really throws timing off

You can do everything, but you play dumb. Simply put, Falcon vs. Marth should never live to 200 percent. You would just link anything to anything that would hit, rather than sacrifice a few things for the sake of getting them in the position of taking that stock.

Hopefully you're not being sarcastic cause I was trying to help.

Anyway, if his fast DD is screwing you up then you're focusing too much on his movements. When a Falcon DD's there are 2 possible things he's trying to do. 1. He's trying to bait you to attack so he can dash out of your range and begin a combo or 2. He's trying to throw you off so he get in and attack you with out you reacting. One way to go about countering the first option would be to make the best approach you can and mentally note his reaction. If you see that he ran out of your range and then came in for the attack then just jab or Fair him out of the air and the next time he DD's you can expect that he will react the same way. People, for the most part, go about using a pattern til it fails pretty horribly and sometimes not even then so you shouldn't have to worry about him altering his style immediately. So on his next attempt at DDing you can use your prediction of his movements to counter him. For example, rather than approaching with a grab or SHFFL into his area of DD, use the long range of Marth's dash attack to prevent the Falcon from running out of your range.

There's more but I'm getting a headache so if this isn't enough help just let me know and I'll put the rest later.

lol thanks guys, although those matches were all just friendlies with my local friends so we spent the time laughing whenever i did stupid stuff such as that super slow run with the match vs fox on fd so like...yeah. i place pretty well in my loca tournies i go to.. usually top 3. but thats with my fox, but i just switched to marth and was hoping to improve it so yeah thanks all for the comments/advices

edit: lol yeah i played pretty stupid against the falcon. that video was slightly older and that was when i really just picked up marth, then i practiced him for 2 weeks and thats where the fox one came and the ditto. so yeah i saw some errors for the falcon but hes still too **** fast like tree
