Never heard of or seen this possible.
Whoever told you probably meant that if you hit someone with the edge of the DAIR hitbox, it will angle your opponent's descent. Useful for combos near the edge ending in a dair, when the edge is a bit out from underneath you. Hit them with the toe/heel to angle them a little.

In terms of angling it like many characters' tilts and smashes, no, that isn't possible as far as I know.

And did you really cave to the people who were saying your name was too long? pfff WEAK

Yeah Falcon's dair has huge hitbox lol.
I still think its the second best spike in the game after Kirby.

What I love about Falcon's dair in 64 compared to the other smash games is that you can nail someone with Falcon's head during the dair and still spike them. Screw physics, it's Falcon.
If the game were true to Cap'n falcon, using falcon punch would result in you buying a new house, or paying a lot to your landlord for blowing up his appartment building. Either or.

While I love me my giant Falcon dair hitbox, I think that Ness' spike beats it out when combined with djc'ing.

Ness's spike sends them straight down at 270 degree angle, Captain Falcon's doesn't. So you can be above the stage near the edge with Falcon and still spike them to death. That's what was meant by angling Falcon's dair probably, not angling it like ftilts/fsmashes.

What i was trieing to say was when u hit ur oppenonet on a certain area of there body left or right will make them go a certain way. Unlike all the other spikes.

That is true. If you Dair them on the right side of Falcon, they go a little bit to the right. If you Dair them on the left side of Falcon, they go a little bit to the left.

Whose utilts cancel falcon's dair? And if I use kirby against a falcon, is drilling the best way to go? I seem to have trouble catching combos on my friend because he either moves out of the way or just jumps. Advice?

with kirby, just face away from him and up-tilt. It will beat many bad and average falcons, but you'll need more than that to beat a decent falcon. I'm pretty sure Kirby's up-tilt beats all of Falcon's aerials. Once you hit him with one up-tilt, just continue to use up-tilt until he goes too far for another up-tilt, then jump and use back-air to send him away.

Falcon's Dair it's not really a technique. It's more like his Dair is slightly different from other Dairs.

If Kirby's Fair hits, you can follow it up with an up-tilt chain. Some Kirby players use short-hop Fairs to approach opponents, while others just turn around and up-tilt. It's best to mix them up to keep your opponent guessing.

I thought ness' is just as good.

Off- Topic:
Also, I watched some Isai vids of him using kirbs, he tends to use fair a lot, is this a good technique? Because it seems to have low priority.
it is more of a spacing move

also, if it was against floaties, it is very useful to combo with

like f-air (first hit) into throw combos

f-air into up air if close enough

f-air into f-air chain

I just went into training and falcon can make the opponent move slightly to the left or right, nothing severe, like in melee. You just have to barely hit them on either side. DK on the other hand i couldn't get to hit people at an angle. I tried to set it up, but they would always go straight down. You may need 2 people to do this, but from what I found, CF yes (slightly though), DK no.

I've been telling people for ages that Captain Falcon > Chuck Norris. Unlike Chuck Norris, Captain Falcon never gets old.

Chuck norris and god are the same: everybody stupidly praises them but they never get anything back.

Chuck Norris and Captain Falcon are complaining to me about this thread. Either it stays on topic or I'll nuke it.
