falcon vs marth

quick question on cf vs marth. i "counter-play" people's marth with cf, and when i try to avoid their aerials by fast-falling they just fastfall and fair me. i've tried wavedashing away but then i get comboed. how can i prevent this from happening?

You need better spacing, really. That's all there is to it. Be mindful of the space Marth's sword can take up, and also be aware of what distances your Uair and Nair cover because they really break up Marth's combo's and approaches if used wisely, like out of a shield.

Simple. Bide your time and don't go near him. Take the opportunity to combo when you see fit.
