I hate edgeguards. Really. They make me lose confidence and just give up. It's more Link than Ganon, but I'd like help for both.

For Link: Is there Seriously any way around his B-Up when he's edgeguarding and I'm coming in from below? I've tried edge teching but his attack is just to horizontal.

For Ganon: This method is a bit different, and doesn't happen as often. If Ganon gets me off the stage and low enough, once he comes in allignment he'll use his B-Down kick and knock me far enough back to make it impossible for me to recover. There must be a way around this.

I would say when you're trying to get back, don't try to sweetspot if you can use your recover earlier to get towards the middle of the stage.

Otherwise, if you can air dodge onto the stage, it would probobly work. Ganon will go off the stage and maybe for get jump and recover so it could be a free stock. Link would be a little tricky for his attack probobly will hit you anyways but hopefully you'll be far enough in that you don't get knocked off the stage.

Oh yeah, and if you are close by, you could probobly falcon kick and get that extra jump to get past them, and maybe start a combo with dair or something. That would only work when you're high up and pretty close so it really depends in what situation you're in.

Good luck.

But what will I do if I got hit of the stage low enough so my only chance of recovery was a falcon dive, which basically sets it up perfect for Ganon or Link?

The sucky thing is, a level 9 wouldn't do anything like that. And because of the fact that I barely have link/ganon players to go up against, let alone barely anyone to go up against, I can never prepare for when it actually counts.

Can't really say much, your just in a pickle if you get in that position. Some characters have advantages like that. Mario's cape can destroy many characters recoveries such as ganon, CF, fox, falco, mario, doc, marth, roy, luigi, ect. Try to use mindgames (although there aren't many) in the air so maybe they get confused and don't know what to do. If you can dodge a couple of there edgeguards, I'm sure they will try to use a different technique so your problems could get solved.
