Falcon Punching through the Pokemon Door?

Doing some friendlies (wish I was recording)
literally just now and I did a dash -> jump -> falcon punch
I hit his shield and went through the door at Saffron.

I mean it was like, I phased through that entire section.

Anyone know about this?

Doesn't surprise me. Fox has a similar glitch with his up b where he goes into the door and I'm pretty sure link has a technique where he can shoot his boomerang through it. I'd like to see this in a video though.

Testing it for about 30~ mins, not eliciting any phase punches.

I'm getting like... 3/4th of the way inside the "room", but the pokemon eventually push me out.
I think the shield impact was the one key that let me zoom past right through.

When I did it, I didn't creep straight through.
It was like...
I hit the shield then boom, I phase right through; with the punch still out.
Laggy enough for me not to be able to recover.

yeah that part of saffron is glitchy as hell

I often accidentally get into the room by doing nothing special, just jumping with pika or something. But I never went through the room.
